Such an exciting moment being able to talk about your first online publication... The morning the article went live, I practically sprang out of bed like a spring chicken. I had the amazing opportunity, thanks to my amazing friend and colleague Erika Fernandes, to have my story and art featured on the front page of The Boston Voyager. All about my story in photography and my struggle through undergrad after undergoing a violent sexual assault, and what kept me motivated, and how to accept my anxieties and failures.
I feel beyond blessed to have had this chance to spread my story of positivity, and how that can be spread through art, and I would love to dive even deeper into that concept of how art changed my life, and how it continues to shape who I am and how I see the world.
If you get anything out of my interview or this post, it's the message from one of my heroes and angels up above, Miss J, "Falling down is a part of life, but getting back up is living."
