In October of 2016, I was sexually assaulted by a stranger in broad daylight. These images are intuitive responses to this traumatic event, and is meant to display a lost sense of self and a shift in my perspective of the world. Through the medium of photography (120mm Porta 400 film), I was able to confront such a sensitive and life changing experience, using my investigative creative skills to cope with the emotional and physical struggles brought on by this event.

If you or anyone you know has been sexually assaulted, please do not be afraid to seek help and care. You are valued and loved, and we can stand together to bring justice into this world. Here are some resources I found: or call the sexual assault hotline at 1-800-656-4673.
